Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

James Kory King pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 30 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Warren James Bellinger, Jr., pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.   Further, Bellinger pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Emilio Gonzales Torres, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Meranda Rene Degadillo, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division.

Jeffery Lewis Hale pled no contest to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Eddie Hernandez pled guilty to the felony offense of Failure to Register as Sex Offender and was sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jeffery Dale Hedt pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity-Forgery and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ethan Vance Wills pled guilty to the felony offense of Continuous Violence Against the Family and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jerry Wayne Colbert pled no contest to the felony offense of Sex Offender Duty to Register and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Lyra-A Ann Klaus, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 24 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Destiny Mayfield, on probation for the state jail felony offense, was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Danny Abraham Salas pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 months Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Kelle Moore Stinnett, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

William Chad Daugherty pled no contest to the felony offenses of Criminal Mischief and Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Joe Cadena, Jr. pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
