Early Lady Horns 51, Millsap 19

MILLSAP – The Early Lady Horns ran their record to 20-8 on the season and 7-1 in District 8-3A girls basketall action with a 51-19 road win over Millsap Tuesday.

Early trailed 7-6 after one quarter but opened a 24-12 halftime lead that stood at 36-15 after three periods.

The Tigers were sparked by 21 points from Avery Williams, eight from Gabby Benson, six from Aliyah Harlan, five from Kayleigh Torrez, four each from Cali Vargas and Andie Simpson, and three points from Cassidy Frerichs.

Early will host Peaster at 6:15 p.m. Thursday.

May Lady Tigers 68, Santa Anna 13

MAY – The No. 23 May Lady Tigers cruised past Santa Anna, 68-13, Tuesday night in District 21-A girls basketball action.

The Lady Tigers (22-7, 7-0) opened an 11-0 after one quarter, which grew to 29-3 halftime and stood at 55-8 through three periods.

Scoring for the Lady Tigers were Jordyn Gerhardt with 29 points, Chloe Lord with 18, Cortney Harper and Lauren Hicks with eight apiece, and McKenna Landes with four points.

The Lady Tigers will next visit Blanket at 6 p.m. Thursday.

May Tigers 68, Santa Anna 20

MAY – The No. 17 May Tigers remained perfect in District 21-A action Tuesday night with a 68-20 home triumph over Santa Anna.

The Tigers (15-8, 5-0) owned a 25-2 advantage after one quarter, which increased to 46-9 by halftime, and stood at 60-17 after three frames.

May received 21 points from Brody Stice, eight each from Tyran Perry, Kobey Morris and Kaden Watkins, six apiece from Maddix Raffel and Jackson Lusk, five from Mikey Scheriger, and three points each from Kaiden Adams and Taylor Newman.

The Tigers will head to Blanket at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Blanket Tigers 40, Sidney 30

SIDNEY – The Blanket Tigers improved to 15-3 overall and 3-1 in District 21-A boys basketball action with a 40-30 victory at Sidney Tuesday.

The Tigers were the recipients of 17 points from Mason Beck, 12 points from Kannon Kensing, five from Brian Shannon, four from Karter Keel, and two points from Cole Furry.

Blanket hosts No. 17 May at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
