Dates for registration of Brownwood Independent School District’s new and returning students were recently announced as follows.

STUDENTS IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE WHO ARE NEW TO BISD:

Registration for new students will take place for all BISD campuses on Wednesday, August 3, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Thursday, August 4, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at individual campuses. The following documentation must be presented to campus registrars:

• Withdrawal form from previous school, if applicable
• Student’s Birth Certificate
• Student’s Social Security Card
• Student’s Immunization Record, updated
• Proof of residency, which must be a utility bill or lease or mortgage agreement
• Parent/Guardian Driver’s License or photo ID

BROWNWOOD HIGH SCHOOL:

Registration at Brownwood High School will take place in the front lobby area.  Students will be able to pick up their schedules and computers (must pay computer fee – cash only) after all paper work is complete.  Paper work can be picked up starting Wednesday August 3rd, but will not be taken until their registration time.

• New Student Registration: 7:30 a.m.  –  4:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 4

• New Student Registration: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Tuesday, August 9

• Freshman: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Dual Credit Students: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday, August 10

• Sophomores: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Dual Credit Students: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Thursday, August 11

• Juniors: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Dual Credit Students: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Friday, August 12

• Seniors: 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Tuesday, August 16

• Freshman / New Student Orientation: 6:00 p.m. in BHS Auditorium
