Deanna Lee Reed, born on April 14, 1966, in Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas. She was a beloved figure whose warm and loving personality left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Deanna grew up in Florida and graduated from Plant City High School in Plant City. Her journey took her to Abilene, where she married Chris Reed on February 7, 1987. Together, they shared a devotion not only to each other but also to their faith as devoted members of North Park Assembly of God Church. Deanna’s commitment to her family was evident throughout her life; she was a caring homemaker, wholeheartedly dedicated to taking care of her husband and their two daughters, Tabitha and Jordan. The joy of motherhood and the cherished moments spent with her daughters were among her proudest accomplishments.

Deanna had a unique gift for creating a welcoming home, often incorporating her talent for decorating to make it special for her family and friends. Time spent with her loving sisters was invaluable to her, and she treasured the lasting memories they created together. Her smile and kindness were constant sources of comfort, making everyone feel special and appreciated.

Deanna is survived by her loving husband, Chris Reed; her daughters, Tabitha Reed and Jordan Reed; her mother, Jean Babin; her brother, Patrick Cleary and his wife Judy; and her three sisters, Shawna Cleary and her husband Mike, Pam Hinson and her husband Kevin, and Penny Howard and her husband Brian. She will also be remembered fondly by her numerous nieces and nephews: Tara, Jana, Danielle, Zach, T.J., Tyler, Taliah, Kiersten, Tiffany, Jeremy, Emily, Katelyn, Keely, Logan, Tiffany, Timmy, and Shawn.

Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Ray Toole; her nephew, Patrick Cleary; and her niece, Heather Hinson.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at North Park Assembly of God Church located at 1918 Jameson Street, Abilene, Texas. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service starting at 10:30 AM with John Shepard, pastor at North Park Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will follow at Elliott Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Deanna Lee Reed will be missed profoundly, yet her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.

The family requests with gratitude that memorials contributions be made to Scottish Rite for Children at www.scottishriteforchildren.org.

We invite you to share fond memories and words of comfort and condolence with the Reed family by signing the guestbook on Deanna’s tribute page at www.stevensfuneralhome.com. Stevens Funeral Home is honored to serve the Reed family.
