Mia Watkins passed away on December 31, 2025. A graveside service for Mia will be held January 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Eastlawn Memorial Park, Early, Texas with interment following the service.

Mia was born on December 30, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas. Though Mia’s time on this Earth was brief, her life was filled with love, purpose, and meaning. She will forever be cherished by her family and held close in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that Mia is now resting peacefully in Heaven, cradled in the arms of Jesus. Mia will always be loved, always be remembered, and will always be our daughter.

Matthew 19:14 – Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”

We will love you always and forever. We love you our little angel, until we meet again.

Mia is survived by her parents, Jasmine Watkins and Michael Watkins 3rd of Blanket, Texas; her brother, Roper Watkins of Blanket, Texas; grandfather, Michael Watkins Jr of Blanket, Texas; grandmother, Jhovana Urtuzuastegui of Chino, California; grandparents, Francisco and Alejandra Holguin of Rhome, Texas; great grandparents, Michael Watkins Sr. and Glenda Watkins of Blanket, Texas; great grandmother, Socorro Marin; and 8 uncles and aunts.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Julie Watkins; great grandmother, Bobby Jefferson; and great grandfather James Donley Jefferson.
