Rosie Marie Roberson was born on November 1, 1957, in Giddings, Texas, to the late Ollie and Artense Roberson. She attended school in Lee County, Texas.

Rosie later met Norris Lewis in Coleman County, Texas. Through this union, she built a life rooted in love, family, and community. She worked faithfully until becoming permanently disabled in 1988. Despite life’s challenges, Rosie remained a devoted and beloved member of her community in Santa Anna, Texas.

Rosie deeply loved Santa Anna, her family, and the home she created there. She welcomed people with warmth and kindness, turning strangers into family and leaving behind a lasting legacy of love, resilience, and compassion. Rosie greeted everyone that passed her daily with a Smile and gratitude for life.

Rosie Marie Roberson was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving children: Temaker Roberson-Alsheshi (Amro), Christopher Roberson, Joshua Roberson (Joyce Roberson), and LaTasha Roberson (Michael Worsham).
She is also survived by her sisters: Karen Scott (Kenneth), Vivian Tucker, and Catherine Shaw;
and her brothers: Curtis “Shot” Roberson and Ollie Roberson. Additional surviving family members include her sister-in-law, Carolyn Dunlap; brother-in-love, Tommy Lewis; and special loved one’s grandson, Justin Lewis. Rosie was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She also lovingly raised three great-grandchildren as her own: Khianna Lewis, Khian Lewis, and Kharmah Lewis. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends: Barbara Nell Mitchell, as well as Gracie Camacho, Hilda Herrod, and Ramona Saiz. Rosie had many friends that she made family.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this time.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Brownwood Funeral Home with burial to follow at Santa Anna Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
