There were 12 men, 2 women and 1 youth who participated in the Family Bass Club Fishing Tournament held at Lake Brownwood on June 25th.
The lake conditions were as follows:
Weather was Mostly Sunny
Wind: 15 to 25 mph South
Air temp: start 77° end 92°
Water was Stained 82° to 85°
There were 39 fish weighed in for a total of 77.74 lbs.
Out of 15 contestants 13 people weighed in fish with 2 limits.
The 5 lb. pot was not won and carries over to the July tournament.
The July tournament will be on Lake Leon on July 30th. Weigh in will be at the Dam Ramp.
The Family Bass Club welcomes new member Robbie Dudley.
The amendment for changing the tournament or date was voted down and stays as written in the by-laws. Members also voted to allow the women to compete in the Men’s division if only 3 or less women are entered if they choose to. The backup lake for the July tournament is Lake Brownwood.
