Law Enforcement Blotter 6/22

Monday, June 20

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of an assault.  According to the report, the complainant advised he had been assaulted by a known subject who also displayed a knife to him.  An incident of aggravated assault was documented.

Tuesday, June 21

*10:24 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant who stated that while his vehicle was parked in the employee parking lot of the Kohler tank plant, an unknown person struck his vehicle. This caused approximately $1,500.00 in damage to the left rear of the vehicle the report states.

*11:10 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, a juvenile had allegedly threatened the complainant with a knife.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*1:01 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant regarding the theft of a video gaming system.  According to the report, the complainant stated her husband had stolen her Sony PlayStation 4.

*6:19 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Belle Plain regarding domestic violence.

*9:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Austin Avenue, a local pharmacy, regarding the burglary of a building and criminal mischief.

*10:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Oakland Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a door and side panel of the complainant’s truck had been damaged.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a business on Belle Plain in reference to some returned checks, which had reportedly been forged. According to the report, the complainant, an employee at the store, had reviewed the video and reported the two checks had been passed by a suspect who has been identified.  The checks were written on an account which did not belong to the suspect.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Tyler Cole Bednar of Merkel, Texas for unlawful carrying of weapon and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*21-year-old Kiondre Brown-Theragood of Brownwood was arrested on a Dallas County warrant related to evading arrest or detention with previous conviction.

*Brownwood Police arrested 62-year-old Gary Charles Middlebrook of Brownwood on a warrant.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Bryan James Temple of Brownwood on a Taylor County warrant related to theft of service.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Jacob Allen Wilder of Bangs, Texas for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and expired driver’s license.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement jail records.
