Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: Dec. 16

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office shared following information:

  • On 12/09/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to Valley View Dr, Brownwood, TX 76801 regarding a domestic. Deputy Geis arrived and spoke to a Shirlene McCollum, who claimed her brother, BOTTS, STEPHEN, had assaulted her. Information was gathered, and BOTTS was taken into custody for Injury to a Child, Elderly, or Disabled Person Felony 3rd Degree. BOTTS was transported to the Brown County Jail, released to jail staff, and a report was made.
  • On 12/09/25, at approximately 1123 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to CR 175, Bangs, Tx 76823 regarding suspicious activity. On arrival, Deputy Fox spoke with Joseph Ressler, who said beginning on 11/26/25, two trucks have driven onto his property and left. Joseph said they also cut the lock on his gate. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 12/09/25, at approximately 1255 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to Cr 334, Blanket, TX 76432 regarding fraud. On arrival, Deputy Fox spoke with Kali Gaylean, who stated someone used her information to open an account with Acima to finance jewelry. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 12/10/2025, at 1553 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to Dollar General located at Highway 279, due to Mary Culp attempting to buy goods at the store with a fake $50 bill. Information was collected, and a report has been made.
  • On 12/11/2025, at 0919 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a silver 1989 Chevrolet Silverado for Expired Registration on Highway 279 at CR 541. After investigation, the passenger of the vehicle, Christina Greene, was arrested on Brown County Warrants, and Jeffery Wagner was arrested for Failure to Identify Fugitive by Giving False Name.
  • On 12/2/2025, at approximately 1826 hours, Deputy Hopson red tagged a 1996 Acura in the block of CR 470. On 12/11/25, the vehicle was towed from the location. The owner was not able to be located.
  • On December 12, 2025, at approximately 1901 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to the corner of 13th and Brady Ave to meet with Brownwood PD in reference to a theft. I spoke with Owen Luke Friess (Victim), who stated MAXEY had taken and sold his A/C Condenser. The A/C Condenser was located and given back to the owner. MAXEY was arrested for Theft of Materials and transported to the Brown County Jail.
  • On 12/13/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to CR 134, Brownwood, TX 76801 for a Domestic. Deputy Geis arrived and spoke to Destinee Carmack, who claimed DENISON, CLIFFORD DAREL II had assaulted her. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 12/13/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to CR 615, Early, TX 76802 regarding Dogs Running at Large. Deputy Geis spoke to Denise Castillo, who said her neighbor’s dogs chased her horses. Deputy Geis also spoke to Leska Douglas and William Douglas, who claimed the neighbor’s dogs also killed their ducks and a lamb. Deputy Geis spoke to HAYLEY CISNEROZ, the owner of the dogs, and issued a Dog Prohibited from Running at Large.
  • On 12-13-2025, at 1716 hours, Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Farm to Market 590 regarding a burglary. Information was gathered, photographs and fingerprints were collected, and a report was completed.
  • On 12/14/25, at approximately 0856 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to handle a fraud by phone. Deputy Fox spoke with Jack Turner, who stated someone changed the name of the recipient and cashed it. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On Monday, December 15, 2025, at 12:00 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center regarding a theft. A male individual stated a fence panel he had located near his trash dumpster was possibly mistaken for trash and taken by an individual driving a red truck. The male individual placed a value of $500.00 on the fence panel. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
  • On Monday, December 15, 2025, at 13:45 hours, I, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell, was dispatched to County Road 381, Brown County, Texas 76802 regarding an animal complaint. Deputy Harrell spoke with a male individual who had 5 chickens, valued at $150.00, killed by a neighbor’s dog. The owner of the dogs had been previously issued a Prohibited Dog from Running at Large Notice. The owner was issued 2 citations for Dogs Prohibited from Runing at Large. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
  • On 12/15/2025, at approximately 2100 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was performing regular duties on patrol in the block of FM 2559, when she observed a license plate in the northbound easement. The license plate was secured for safe keeping. This report is for informational purposes.
