Cayden Andrew McBee, age 20, was born on June 12, 2005, and passed away in a tragic car accident on December 2, 2025.

A Sentiment From His Mom

I was absolutely blessed to have my boy. I never thought I would be able to have children, and at 33 I found out I was pregnant. My pregnancy was different and challenging, and he came into the world three weeks early, healthy and strong. He was rarely sick, even as he grew older.

My boy was the most precious gift I never believed I would ever have. He was a huge momma’s boy, and he never doubted for one second that he was loved. Not a single day passed where we didn’t tell each other “I love you” multiple times. My boy loved so fiercely.

Cayden loved his family deeply. He leaves behind his wife, Erin Norris, and their daughter, Lovella Dawn McBee; his first-born daughter, Hazley Saige Schneider; his parents, Shelayne and Gary Reeder; his sister, Madyson Hays; and his Pappaw, Daymon McBee. He is also survived by his uncles, Andy and wife Janna McBee and family, and Kyle and wife Kelly McBee and family; cousins he lovingly referred to as his “aunts,” Krystal and Huery Lewis and family, Whitney and Jesse Rosales, and Mariah Jacoby and girlfriend Jordan Peterson and family; his bonus mom, Anne Fenton; and bonus sisters, Lyndsay Dudley and Isabella Miller. He also leaves behind many cousins and countless brothers from other mothers who were like family to him.

Cayden was preceded in death by his Mimi, Wanda McBee; his aunt, Sheila Allcorn; his cousin, Jerrin Hernandez; and several aunts and close family friends.

A Come and Go service will be held for Cayden on Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 at Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
