
The following information was submitted by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:
- On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at approximately 1312, Deputy Scotty Burke was dispatched to Lakeside Dr. in reference to a burglary of a habitation report and investigation. Contact was made with a local contractor, who was remodeling the property and discovered the burglary. Numerous TV’s were taken from property. Contact was also made with the property owner. Information was gathered, and a report was completed.
- On November 26, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, responded to CR 347 in regard to an animal at large. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 11/26/25, at approximately 1522 hours, I, Deputy Hopson, responded to Sportsman Dr for a Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information report. The victim advised a known suspect fraudulently got a loan in his name.
- On 11/27/25, at approximately 1230 hours, Deputy Hopson responded to Crockett Dr for a Dangerous Dog report. Contact was made by an individual, who said she was bitten by a dog at Ave C. The owner of the dog was contacted via phone and will be issued Dangerous Dog paperwork at a later date.
- On November 28, 2025, at 1645 hours, Deputy Thomas Beloat and Sgt. Gene Smith with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Hammer Dr. regarding a burglary not in progress. Information was gathered, photographs were taken, and a report was completed.
- On 11/29/25, at approximately 2136 hours, Deputies Ethan Fox and John Geis were dispatched to W May St, Bangs, Tx 76823, regarding a burglary. On arrival, Deputies learned HORDGE, HENRY had kicked in his girlfriend’s door to retrieve a suitcase. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On Sunday, 11-30-2025, at about 11:59 hours, Sgt Byron Langley arrived at Walnut St in Brownwood, TX regarding a burglary of a vehicle. Sgt Langley spoke to Marshal Glen Massey (Victim), who stated someone had taken a shotgun from his vehicle.
- On 12/02/2025, at approximately 1847 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle responded to a follow up regarding a report of an Animal Bite. Deputy Reigle spoke with the victim, who stated she had been bitten several days ago by a cat she had been caring for. The victim sought medical treatment and was advised of her options. Photographs and a report were taken for informational purposes.
- On December 4th, 2025, at 1541 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to a call to be handled by phone for a theft, which had occurred in September. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
- On 12/06/2025, at 0823 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a blue 2015 GMC Sierra for expired registration. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Bradley Day, was arrested for Driving While License Invalid without Financial Responsibility. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
- On 12/07/2025, at approximately 1627 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was contacted by dispatch regarding a Criminal Mischief complaint at US 377 S. The victim stated someone had changed the lock to the easement they use to access their landlocked property. Upon further investigation, it was determined a Criminal Trespass offense had taken place on the victim’s property. A report was made for further investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
