Downtown Brownwood Inc., in partnership with the City of Brownwood, invites the community to gather in the heart of downtown for the Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 6:30 pm at Pat Coursey Park.
The evening will open with a welcome from Downtown Brownwood Inc., followed by holiday remarks from Mayor Stephen E. Haynes, who will help lead the countdown to light the community Christmas tree. Attendees can enjoy festive music, hot chocolate, photo booth, and the cheerful atmosphere that has become a Brownwood holiday tradition.
“The Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting is our invitation to start the season together, right here in the heart of Brownwood,” said Eric Evans, Board President of Downtown Brownwood Inc. “It’s a chance to pause, look around, and remember why this place feels like home for the holidays.”
“Each year, this tree becomes a gathering point for our community,” said Mayor Stephen E. Haynes. “We come together as friends and neighbors to celebrate hope, joy, and togetherness. I invite everyone to join us downtown as we begin the Christmas season in Brownwood.”
