Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: Nov. 25

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On Monday, November 24, 2025, at approximately 0946, Brown County Deputies were dispatched to CR 200 in Brownwood, TX in reference to a crisis intervention report. Callers on scene advised dispatch SAVATORE UVALLE was armed with a knife and was threatening to stab himself in the heart. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the subject. After some time, UVALLE put the knife down and walked outside with the deputies. He was evaluated and cleared by medical staff on scene. Mental Health Deputy Dean Anderson and Center for Life employee, Laurie Chastain, arrived on scene and spoke with UVALLE. He was transported to the Center for Life for further evaluation.
  • On 11/22/25, at approximately 1330 hours, I, Deputy Hopson, responded to CR 257 for an illegal dumping report. Several items were illegally dumped at the location. The incident is still being investigated. 
  • On 11/22/2025, at 2104 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a silver 2013 Chevrolet Silverado in the block of CR 608 for expired registration. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Patrick O’Connor, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While License Invalid without Insurance. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
  • On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at approximately 2151 hours, Sergeant Francisco Valencia with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop in the block of W US 67. The driver of the vehicle had active warrants for his arrest. While in custody, illegal narcotics were located on the driver. He was charged and placed into custody for Possession of Controlled Substance. A report was made.
  • On Monday, November 17, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, was dispatched to Smith Ln regarding an animal complaint. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 11/17/2025, at 1855 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to Rainbow Valley Dr to take a report of a Domestic Violence, which had occurred the night before. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
