HAWLEY – The May Lady Tigers remained undefeated on the season with a 55-32 road victory over Hawley Monday.

The Lady Tigers (5-0) opened a 12-11 advantage after one quarter that increased to 22-17 by halftime and 35-23 through three frames.

Leading the charge for May were Jordyn Gerhardt with 22 points, Chloe Lord with 17, McKenna Landes with six, Lauren Hicks and Cortney Harper with four each, and Aubree Gerhardt with two points.

The Lady Tigers visit No. 1-ranked Eula at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Abilene Christian 48, Zephyr Lady Bulldogs 30

ZEPHYR – The Zephyr Lady Bulldogs slipped to 2-3 on the season with a 48-30 loss to Abilene Christian.

Zephyr, which fell to ACHS by a 63-33 count earlier this season, led 13-8 after one quarter in the rematch and the game was tied at 19 at halftime. In the third period, the Lady Bulldogs fell into a 32-25 hole and could not recover.

Calyn Kubin scored 11 points for Zephyr followed by eight from Sydnee Simpson, five from Kenlyn King, four from Avery Stevens, and two points from Kirstan King.

The Lady Bulldogs will visit Milford at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
