Sarah Frances Dodson-Chamberlain, age 83, of Rising Star passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Abilene, Texas.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Rising Star, Texas with Harold Roan officiating. Burial will follow at the Sabanno Cemetery in Sabanno, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas.
