VLAWarriorNationLogo2Victory Life Academy and Chick-fil-A of Heartland Mall will host a SMASHBALL tournament on Saturday May 14th, 2016 at Warrior Stadium located at 901 CC Woodson Road.

SMASHBALL is a combination of knockerball and football.  Knockerballs are the big round-shaped, clear, air-filled balls that cover the top half of your body. Knockerball Abilene has been seen at several local events.

Victory Life Academy is bringing in Knockerball Abilene for the first ever SMASHBALL Tournament. Teams of 8 will compete against each other to be crowned the SMASHBALL Champions.  The champions of the tournament will be awarded medals, Chick-fil-A and bragging rights.

There will be two tournament brackets, one for 6th to 8th grade and one for 9th grade to adult. The tournament entry free is $20 per player and $160 per team.  Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 14th and the tournament will begin at 9 a.m. Those interested in participating in the tournament can register, pay, find out more about knockerball and view rules of play at vlabrownwood.org/smashball.

Those not interested in the tournament and kids of all ages are welcome to come and participate in free play for $5 per session.  Food will be available for purchase all day beginning with breakfast and until the conclusion of the tournament.

All proceeds from this event will go to support Victory Life Academy Warrior Athletics.
