Richard Duane Davis of Brownwood passed away on November 8, 2025, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born February 12, 1949, to F. D. Davis and Sarah B. Gleaton.

Richard loved his friends and family, he had big heart, smile, and personality. He enjoyed cooking, sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and going to the Texas Rangers games with his brother.

Richard worked for Superior Cable Essex for 35 years and then went on to work for Kohler Company for another 10 years before retiring.

Richard is survived by his wife Kerry Davis of 53 years, his daughter Corey and husband Jason Cline, their sons Dylan and Cody Cline all of Burnet, Texas. Dylan and Cody were his pride and joy. Richard is also survived by his brother Harrell Davis and wife Sherry of Brownwood and sisters Deb Thomas and husband Brent of Brownwood and Jan Edwards and husband Gary of Lake Brownwood. And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents and a baby daughter Kimberly.

Richard will be missed greatly by his friends and family.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5-7 at Blaylock Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Blaylock Funeral Home with interment following at the Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood.

Funeral is under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
