Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports that a felony case was recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Buddy Eugene Allgood pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Allgood pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Lillian Esther Mann Baker pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jacob Gomez, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Gomez pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Jeffery Dewayne Whitehead pled guilty to the felony offense of Evading Arrest and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Sean Jeffery Smith, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion, was revoked and sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Smith, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Chance Schaefer, on probation for the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone, was revoked and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Kory Sean Ogden pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of Marijuana and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Darryan Alexandria Solis pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering a Child and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
