At 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, the Brookesmith Theater Arts students delivered their final performance of OZ by Don Zolidis at the Howard Payne University Theater—and it was nothing short of spectacular. Emma Slayton shone as Beth, joined by Aidyn Barnett as the courageous Lion, Ava Hathcock as the witty Scarecrow, Caleb Bradley as the heartfelt Tin Man, Robert Eachus as the enigmatic Wizard, and Autumn Ellis as the wickedly captivating Witch. Words like stunning, impassioned, and exuberant barely begin to capture the energy and talent on display. We can’t wait to see what this remarkable troupe brings to the stage next!
