Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: Oct. 16

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 18:50 hours, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to Fifth Street in Blanket for a dog bite. The owner of the dog was given a Dog Prohibited From Running at Large Notice. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On 10/15/2025, at 1953 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a black 1998 Ford F-150 at 1 Street and Santa Fe in Bangs for expired registration. After investigation, the driver of the vehicle, Wade Simpson, was placed into custody for Driving While License Invalid Without Insurance. The passenger of the vehicle, Christy Rader, was also placed into custody for possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
  • On October 14th, 2025, at 1006 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to an abuse of 9-1-1 call at Hwy 183 S in Early, Tx 76802. Dispatch said DANIELL, JUSTIN (W/M, 03/20/1981) had called into 9-1-1 multiple times, cursing and yelling at dispatchers without an apparent emergency present. DANIELL was placed into custody for PC 42.061 Silent or Abusive calls to 9-1-1. DANIELL was transported to Brown County Jail and released to jail staff. A report was made.
  • On October 14, 2025, at approximately 1127 hours, I, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez, was dispatched to Hammer Dr in reference to a dog bite, which occurred on Belfast Dr. Information was taken, and a report was made.
  • On October 14, 2025, at 1438 hours, Deputy Thomas Beloat with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to U.S. Hwy 183 North and County Road 418 regarding a burglary of a vehicle. Information was gathered, and a report was completed.
