ZEPHYR – The Zephyr Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs both captured team championships at the District 25-A meet Wednesday, punching their tickets to the Region IV-A competition Oct. 20 at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Seven Bulldog runners all finished in the Top 11, led by meet champion Aaron Fagan (17:13), runner-up Spencer Marwitz (18:06), fourth-place Reese Hamm (19:30), fifth-place Slade Butler (19:31), sixth-place CJ Byers (19:41), seventh-place Ethan Prochaska (20:03), and 11th-place Chris Armstrong (21:37).

Competing for the Lady Bulldogs were meet winner Nataly Lopez (14:08), second-place Katie Williams (14:09), third-place Avery Stevens (14:59), as well as Rebecca Evetts (16:42) and Taylor Lemond (19:15).
