Wednesday, April 6

*11:31 PM – Brownwood police were dispatched to the 600 block of Norwood Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend showed up at the address with two other males and assaulted him.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Thursday, April 7

*8:21 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Hawkins Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a leather bag with five Bingo dobbers was stolen from the inside the vehicle.  No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

*9:30 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of 6th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, upon arrival, the responding officer observed a male who matched the description of the male half of the disturbance walking southbound from the residence.  The male, identified as 21-year-old Jacob Munoz of Brownwood, was detained pending investigation and gave permission to the officer to search his person, the report states.  Located inside Munoz’s jacket was a small zipper case containing multiple Xanax pills, according to the report.  Munoz was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams in a drug free zone (within 1000 feet of the Boys and Girls Club).  Munoz was also issued a criminal trespass warning from the residence.

*7:30 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2300 block of Avenue E regarding a warrant service.  When officers spoke with the individual, they stated that their vehicle had been stolen and their home possibly burglarized.

*8:15 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a passenger car in the area of County Road 551 and Bailey Street.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 65-year-old William Bing Wallace of Brownwood, was arrested for driving while license invalid with a previous conviction.  A blue cylinder containing 6.9 grams of marijuana was found in the vehicle and Wallace was additionally charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old James Lee Greene regarding possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 24-year-old Ashley Ann Partain of Odessa for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.  Partain was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond as of Friday morning.

Friday, April 8

*Brownwood Police arrested 56-year-old Rebecca Rice Hill of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Courtney Long of Early for injury of a child/elderly/disabled person with intent bodily injury.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 32-year-old Charles Mitchell Nash of Odessa for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and on a Rusk County warrant for possession of marijuana.  Nash was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $11,000 as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Juan Galvan Salazar of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Monalisa Vasquez of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
