Brown County Sheriff’s Office Report: Oct. 2

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

  • On 09/29/25, at approximately 1929 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to Lovers Lane, Brownwood, Tx 76801 regarding a terroristic threat. Deputy Fox arrived on scene and spoke with Xavier Potter, who stated he was threatened to be shot if he rode his motorcycle on Ardee Dr. Deputy Fox spoke with FOX, JOHN, and Bryan Powell, who live on Ardee Dr. FOX and Bryan told Deputy Fox they confronted Xavier but never threatened him. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
  • On September 29, 2025, at approximately 19:18 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez and Deputy Hayden Donahoo (Witness) were dispatched to 8025 Dorothy Ln in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. Sgt Byron Langley and Deputy Sanchez arrived on scene. Sanchez spoke with the caller, REBA FAYE BUFFINGTON (SUSPECT, W/F, 8/2/83), who stated her boyfriend, Robert Anthony Duhaime (Victim), assaulted her. While deputies were on scene, BUFFINGTON called 911 five times. BUFFINGTON was arrested for PC 42.061 Silent or Abusive Call to 9-1-1 service, PC 38.03 Resisting Arrest, Search or Transportation, and PC 22.01 Assault on a Public Servant.
  • On 09/29/25, at approximately 1503 hours, Deputy Ethan Fox was dispatched to 6530 Hidden Valley Dr, Brownwood, Tx 76801 regarding a trespassing. On arrival, Deputy Fox learned the suspect, ALEXANDER, CHARLES, already fled the residence. Deputy Fox spoke with the property owner, Selina Allgood, who requested ALEXANDER and his girlfriend, FUQUA, MICHELE, be criminally trespassed. Criminal trespass paperwork was filed, but Deputy Fox was not able to serve the trespass warnings.
  • On 09/29/2025, Brown County Deputy Sheriff Madeline Reigle was contacted by dispatch regarding a walk-in to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office regarding a found wallet. The items in the wallet identified a probable owner as Marcus McQuade Burnett. Several attempts were made to locate Burnett at multiple addresses, but no one was present at either. The phone number listed for Burnett was not correct. A report was made for informational purposes, and the wallet will be retained by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
  • On September 30, 2025, at approximately 1729 hours, Deputy Alexandria Sanchez was dispatched to S 183 in reference to loose livestock. The loose livestock were 5 black angus cows. The cows are going to be estrayed and relocated at the Brown County Sheriff office.
  • On 09/27/2025, at 1437 hours, Deputy Michel Wilson was dispatched to Cr 381 to take a report of a Burglary. James Roberts said someone broke into his father, Lou Roberts, residence and took at 20-gauge New England shot gun and an old German bolt action rifle. Information was obtained, and a report has been made.
  • On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, Brown County Deputy Sheriff TJ Harrell was dispatched to a residence on Hidden Valley Drive for a theft. Several items were missing. Information was gathered, and a report was generated.
