Brown County Sheriff's Office Report: Sept. 29

The following information was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office:

On 09/24/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office for a walk-in regarding a mail theft. Deputy Geis spoke to James Roland, who said someone stole a $10,000.00 check from the Heartland Church mailbox. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
On 09/24/2025, Deputy John Geis was stopped by Ronald Stanford, who advised he was having issues with his neighbor’s dogs chasing his livestock at CR 487, May, TX 76857. Deputy Geis spoke to SABRINA LUPPI, the owner of the dogs, at CR 487, May, TX 76857. Deputy Geis issued a Dog Prohibited from Running at Large form to SABRINA. Information was gathered and a report was made.
On 09/25/2025, Deputy John Geis was dispatched to CR 183, Bangs, TX 76823 regarding a Dog Prohibited from Running at Large. Deputy Geis spoke to an Alfredo Razo, who said his neighbor, WATTS, GUY JR, at CR 183, Bangs, TX 76823, had a rottweiler loose which killed Alfredo’s chickens. Deputy Geis issued a Dog Prohibited from Running at Large form to WATTS. Information was gathered, and a report was made.
On September 26th, 2025, at 0400 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to Crockett Dr in Brownwood, TX 76801 for an accidental gunshot wound to the hand. Information and pictures were gathered on scene. A report was made.
On September 23, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, took a phone call in reference to an animal bite. The caller, Meyer, Judith, advised she was bitten on her left ankle by a kitten on or about Sunday, September 21, 2025. Meyer said the kitten later died between the time of the bite and Tuesday, September 23, 2025. A report was made.
On September 23, 2025, I, Deputy Saydie Bradley, arrived at Belfast Dr in regard to an illegal dumping. I spoke with Locke, Ashton (03/16/1991, W/M), who lives on the property. A report was taken.
On September 26th, 2025, at 0400 hours, Deputy Hayden Donahoo was dispatched to Crockett Dr in Brownwood, Tx 76801 for an accidental gunshot wound to the hand. Information and pictures were gathered on scene. A report was made.
On 09/26/2025, at 1517 hours, deputies were dispatched to Turner Drive for an unwanted person on the property. Jackie Bebee said Mary Culp was on her property and has an active Criminal Trespass Warning against Mary. Information was taken, and a report has been made.
On 09/25/2025, at 1556 hours, Deputy Wilson was dispatched to a walk-in at the Law Enforcement center for a possible scam. After investigation, it was found Franky Gonzalez was scammed out of $75. Information was obtained and a report has been made.
On Sunday, 09/28/2025, at about 2206 hours, Deputy Chris Williamson and Deputy Seargent Jason Bastardo were dispatched to a trespass call located at CR 616, Early, TX, Care Nursing and Rehabilitation. The Care Nursing and Rehabilitation center wanted JERRY DON MCCAIN JR. served with a Criminal Trespass Warning for their address. The proper paperwork was filled out, and a report was made.
