The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of September 17:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water clear; 81 degrees; 1.40 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.68 pounds are good in 3-5 feet of water on weedless hollow body topwater frogs in the shoreline grass with some fish on crankbaits and jigs in 5-12 feet of water on brush. Crappie are good, with some fish up to 14 inches, on minnows and jigs off deeper large docks with brush on the main lake, and on scattered brush piles in 10-15 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.50 pounds on crappie jigs and crankbaits out of the lights at night and some schooling action in the open water of the main lake. Catfish are slow on cut shad on main lake flats.

LAKE CISCO

GOOD. Water normal stain; 87 degrees; 15.13 feet above pool. Fishing has been pretty good, with the bite steady, especially in the mornings when conditions are favorable. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals

LAKE COLEMAN

SLOW. Water stained; 82 degrees; 2.01 feet below pool. Bass are slow but can be targeted in the cattails with reaction baits. Crappie are slow. Hybrid bass are slow. Catfish are slow. Find the bait fish to locate fish.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

FAIR. Water stained; 81 degrees; 17.71 feet below pool. Black bass are good with catches up to 9 pounds possible in 10-12 feet of water in thick brush. Use a 6.5 inch soft plastic that mimics a tornado in Plum Apple and red bug, or a frog like soft plastic in Okeechobee Craw and Bama bug when they quit hitting the worm. You can pitch these baits off main lake points where brush is topping out at 10-12 feet under the surface. Still some topwater fishing with frogs and walking baits in thick salt cedar in 2-6 feet of water. There is lots of grass popping up all over the lake. Crappie are good on minnows around timber in both rivers with minnows. Some limits reported. Channel catfish are very good on a cut shad, cheese baits or minnows in 10 feet or less. Report by Wendell Ramsey, Ramsey Fishing.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 87 degrees; 1.48 feet below pool. Catfish are good on the dam side from the bank with worms or cut bait. Report of sand bass and hybrids catches with topwater lures.
