Marquita Rose Allison, 60, of Brownwood, Texas passed away August 31, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Heartland Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 5, 2025 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.

Marquita was born June 23, 1965 in Brownwood, Texas to Margaret Wood and adopted by Curtis and Rose Allgood. She attended school in Brownwood and married Gary Allison November 23, 1981. Marquita worked at CARE Nursing and Rehab as the #1 cook for over 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, all things plants, bargain hunting and loved her animals. Most of all she loved her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.

Marquita is survived by her daughters, Chasity Allison, Chelsey Allison and partner Zeb Griffin, and Alyssa Lynn; son, Trey Allison and partner, Bella Fraley; sisters, Katrina Cantu, Jenny Kunz; brothers, James Rudloff, John Caudill, Robert Caudill; grandchildren, Hannah Allison, Bradley Hernandez, Leo Allison, Kimberly Allison (On the way); and great grandchildren, Aspyn McClure & Judson McClure; and many nieces and nephews.
