HaffleyMargaretKirbyMargaret Kirby Haffley, 75, of Coleman died Monday, March 7, 2016 at Coleman County Medical Center.  Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman.  Burial will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

She was born Margaret Ellen Kirby on September 1, 1940 in Coleman to Zack and Ila Jones Kirby.  She grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School in 1958.  She was a Girl Scout Leader, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include one daughter, Carla Robinson of Abilene; four grandchildren, Lori Parks and husband, Aaron, of Coleman, Amanda Smiley and husband, John, of Coleman, Ryan Robinson and wife, Monique, of Valera, Trey Robinson of Abilene; seven great grandchildren, Katlin Parks, Alisha Parks, Courtney Parks, Mazzy Smiley, Jude Smiley, Lauren Robinson, Randal Robinson; one sister, Loretta Epperson and husband, Lewis, of Big Lake; one brother, Ted Kirby and wife, Cathye, of Early; sister-in-law, Bobbie Kirby of Coleman and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Parker, a brother, Johnny Kirby and a sister, Betty Carnes.

Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Stevens Funeral Home.
