James Richard Miller, age 72 of Brownwood, Texas died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his home.

Millers body will be cremated under  the direction of Heartland Funeral Home with a memorial service at a later date.

James Miller was born June 24, 1937 in Johnstown, Ohio the son of the late Reed and Gladys Miller. He was an auto mechanic and served in the United States Navy. He married Leonor Villarreal in October of 1985 in Corpus Christi. James liked to work in the yard and fix things around the house. He came to know Christ before he passed away and that brought him great joy. He was a loving husband to his wife Leonor. He had lived in Brownwood the past six years, formerly of San Saba and Corpus Christi.

Survivors include his wife Leonor Miller of Brownwood; son Rick Miller of Gahanna, Ohio; daughter  Terry Miller of Ohio; stepchildren Laura Pena of Austin, Beto Pena of Austin, Adrian Pena of New York, and Luis Pena of Austin; 5 grandchildren; brothers Carl and John Miller of Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
