VFW Post 3278 and its auxiliaries recently made a $2500 donation today to the Cherry Pie Auction, which was held on Saturday, February 21st.  The auction, which began in 1977, raises money for Brownwood area youth sports, including: Teenage Baseball; Freshmen League Baseball; Girls’ Softball; Cen-Tex soccer; and Soccer For Fun.

Funds for the donation were a result of the VFW’s fish fry fundraiser which was held in January.
