
EARLY – The Early Lady Horns volleyball team kept its unblemished record intact Tuesday, improving to 8-0 on the season with a 25-13, 25-15, 25-16 home victory over Ballinger.
Sparking the Lady Horns offense was Aubrie Devillier with nine kills trailed by Jensyn Rasor with seven, and Ellie Shea, Grey Pruett and Kailyn Gallardo with two apiece.
Pruett contributed 16 assists while Cassidy Frerichs added three, and Pruett also served a team-high seven aces followed by three each from Gallardo and Tiffany Phelps, two from Rasor and one from Devillier.
On the defensive end, Gabby Benson logged nine digs along with seven from Rasor, six each from Devillier and Pruett, four from Frerichs and two by Gallardo.
At the net, Rasor collected three blocks, Pruett finished with two and Frerichs tallied one.
The Lady Horns will be back in action Thursday at the Heart of Texas tournament at the Brownwood Coliseum, facing Brownwood at 8 a.m., the Brownwood JV at 11 a.m., Brady at 2 p.m., and Coleman at 4 p.m.
