He was born on April 21, 1967 to Brenda Joyce Young Purcell and Orbin Jay Purcell Sr in Brownwood, TX. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1985. He spent his life working hard in construction, where he not only built bridges and paved highways but also built strong friendships with those he worked alongside. Outside of work, he loved the outdoors — whether he was hunting, fishing, or just enjoying nature. He also had a passion for playing games, which gave him many hours of fun and laughter with friends and family.
Bo will be remembered for his sense of humor, his loyalty, and the way he always showed up when someone needed a hand. His family and friends will deeply miss his presence but will carry his memory in the stories and laughter he leaves behind.
Bo is survived by his father Orbin Jay Purcell Sr and stepmother Gay of Brownwood, TX; brother Jody Purcell and wife Karen of Tyler, TX; sister, Anita Purcell of Brownwood, TX.; stepsisters Donna Miller and husband Mike of Brownwood, TX, Lisa Hoffman and husband Mike of Goldthwaite, TX; Niece Sophia Solis and husband Gregory and their children Remi Kate and Abigail Beau of Brownwood, TX; Nephew Brett Chaput and girlfriend Kylei Hayden and their son Jaysten Layne of Brownwood, TX.
