Lady Horns move to 7-0 with perfect run through Brady tournament

BRADY – The Early Lady Horns volleyball team remained undefeated on the season, picking up three more victories Saturday en route to the Brady tournament championship.

Early notched victories over host Brady, as well as Rochelle and Richland Springs Saturday to improve to 7-0 on the season.

The finale was a 25-12, 25-14 sweep of the host Brady Lady Bulldogs.

Jensyn Rasor delivered a team-high six kills followed by Aubrie Devillier with five, Ellie Shea with three, Grey Pruett with two and Kailyn Gallardo and Gabby Benson with one apiece.

Pruitt distributed 13 assists trailed by Cassidy Frerichs with three and one from Gallardo.

Tiffany Phelps, Pruett and Rasor each served two aces.

In the 25-12, 25-5 victory over Rochelle, Rasor paced the attack with 12 kills followed by Devillier with four, Shea with two and Gallardo with one

Pruett dished out 14 assists along with two from Frerichs and one by Gallardo.

Rasor also served three aces with Benson and Pruett providing two apiece and Devillier contributed one.

Defensively, Benson finished with three digs trailed by Gallardo with two and Devillier with one.

Shea tallied a pair of blocks and Devillier added one.

In a 25-8, 25-8 triumph over Richland Springs, Shea and Devillier sparked the offensive with five kills each along with three apiece from Rasor and Gallardo, two from Pruett and one from Frerichs.

Pruett added 14 more assists and Frerichs was credited with one, while Pruett also served seven aces, Gallardo finished with six, and Rasor recorded two.

Defensively, Gallardo tallied two digs and Devillier notched one.

At the net, Shea recorded the only block.

The Lady Horns (7-0) look for their eighth straight win to open the season at 6 p.m. Tuesday when they host Ballinger.
