Kayli DeVusser spent most of her summer break with her Beretta shotgun training for two events. At those events, she proves her hard work pays off!
Mid July, Kayli spent a week in San Antonio for the Texas 4H State Shotgun Championship. She shot more than 450 rounds in multiple events, including American Skeet, American Trap, Doubles Skeet, Doubles Trap, Whizbang and Sporting Clays.
Kayli placed in the following:
American Trap S1 Lady: 2nd with 95 out of 100 (after a 3 way shoot-off)
Doubles Trap S1 Lady: 2nd with 45/50
American Skeet S1 Lady: 1st with 99/100

End of July, Kayli was on the road to Waco for the Junior World Skeet Championship. Kayli entered this event in order to add additional Skeet scores to her resume. She has high goals of making the Texas State shotgun team, where you need multiple experiences in all disciplines.
At the World Championship, Kayli shot over 700 rounds through her gun. At Worlds, shooters must shoot skeet in 12 gauge, 20 gauge, 28 gauge and 410 bore. This was Kayli’s first event ever competing in the sub gauges.
Kayli placed in the following:
