The City of Bangs issued the following information:

Due to the new water line replacement tie-ins that caused our system to lose required pressure on 7/15/2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required the City of Bangs, Public Water System ID # 0250001, to notify affected customers to boil their water prior to consumption.

Our Public Works has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that, as of 7/17/2025 @ 1:00 PM, the water no longer requires boiling.
