According to the Texarkana Gazette and KSLA-TV, a man was arrested on a kidnapping charge after allegedly being found Wednesday with a 15-year-old Brownwood girl whose disappearance triggered a child abduction alert.

The Texarkana Gazette article states:

Cody Louis Kille, 28, of Annville, Pennsylvania, also is charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon. He has been booked into Bi-State Detention Center in Texarkana. Bail had not been set by late Wednesday afternoon, according to jail records.

Kille’s arrest is the result of an Amber Alert issued for Dahlia Creek of Brownwood. The alert indicated Dahlia, who was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a red scarf, and black pants with a multicolored backpack, could be traveling in a white Mercury sedan.

Hooks Police officer Zachary Baker spotted a vehicle matching the description in the alert traveling east on Interstate 30 about 3:05 p.m. at the 209 mile-marker, less than 20 miles from the state border, Hooks Police Chief Johnny Millwood told the Gazette.

Dahlia reportedly told police she left with Kille voluntarily. Arrangements were made to return the Dahlia to her home.

He was charged with kidnapping, a Third Degree Felony, and unlawfully carrying a weapon, a Class A misdemeanor. Additional charges from Brownwood Police Department are pending.

Bond was set at $510,000.
