CookSharon Steffey Cook, age 62, of San Saba passed away Saturday, January 23, 2015, at a local nursing home in San Saba.

Graveside services for Sharon will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016, in the Coleman City Cemetery with Pastor Barry Fikes officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Sharon was born on December 13, 1953, to Arthur and Norma (Simpson) Steffey in Coleman, Texas. She attended First Baptist Church of San Saba. Sharon enjoyed knitting, cooking, and loved to play Skip-Bo.

Sharon is survived by her 2 sons, Charles Fleming and wife Jennifer of San Saba, Melvin Fleming and wife Misty of Vancourt; grandkids, Shyan Limmer, Colten Limmer, Westyn Fleming, Jadyn Fleming, and Jimma Fleming; brothers, Danny Steffey and wife Shannon of Marshfield, MO, Donald Steffey and wife Patti of Lake Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cook; parents, Arthur and Norma Steffey; sister, Brenda Steffey LeMond; and a niece, Kay LeMond Wheeles.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
