BadgeLogoBrown County Sheriff’s Office will host a brisket fundraiser on Tuesday, January 26th to benefit Bob and Ann Beadel who lost their home in a fire last week.

The brisket fundraiser will take place at the Brown County Law Enforcement Center, located at 1050 W. Commerce in Brownwood, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. or until they are sold out.  Plates of brisket, fixings, and a drink will be available for $10 each.  All orders will be prepared to go.

BCSO has collected money from within their office and from local businesses to help out the Beadels who lost their home due to a fire on January 18th.  All funds raised will be given to the Beadels in an effort to help them with expenses incurred after losing their home.

According to a recent Facebook post, Bob Beadel expressed thanks for those organizing this event, for their friendship and kindness. He explained that he began his law enforcement career of 34 years as a reserve officer in Brown County and retired as a Brown County Constable.  He and Ann have been married for 57 years.
