Funeral services for Virginia Wray Jay, age 81, of Dallas will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 2 PM at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Zephyr Cemetery.  Ms. Jay died Thursday, December 31, 2015.

Virginia was born December 24, 1934 in Brownwood, Texas to James C. and Maurine D. (Hollingsworth) McCurdy.  She attended Cisco Junior College where she played basketball.  Virginia was a sweet woman; an artist and poet who loved God and her family.

Those left behind to cherish her memories is her daughter, Gerri Jay of Dallas; brother, Travis Alan McCurdy; cousins, Kim and Tracey McCurdy; and nephew David McAldo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Jay and sister, JoAnne McCurdy McAldo.
