The Brownwood Lions baseball team locked in another district championship Tuesday night with a big win over the Sweetwater Mustangs.  The Lions won with a score of 12-2 in five innings in their game at Morris Southall Field in Brownwood.

The Lions go to an overall record of 18-7-1 and an 8-1 record in District 2-3A.  Brownwood goes on the road Friday to play the Snyder Tigers.

The district champion Brownwood Lady Lions softball team added another win to their already long string of victories.  The Lady Lions defeated the Snyder Lady Tigers 5-1 Tuesday night in Snyder.

The Lady Lions have a perfect 10-0 district records and a 17-8 overall record on the season.
