Annual Bangs Lighted Christmas Parade and Christmas in the Park Set for Dec. 12th

CartoonSantaThe Bangs Business Association, along with Bangs First Baptist Church and Bangs MDD will present their annual Bangs Lighted Christmas Parade and Christmas in the Park on December 12th.

The fun begins at 6 PM as the Bangs Business Association kicks the evening off with its famous Lighted Christmas Parade led by the award winning Bangs Dragon Band and ends with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Grand Marshal for the parade is Bangs High School Track and Theater Star: Alex Madlock.

There is no entry fee or pre-registration to be in the parade, simply show up on Gantt Street at School Bus Barns at 5:30 PM to be in the parade, parade begins promptly at 6 PM.

Immediately following the parade, the public is invited to come to City Park for the First Baptist Church’s Presentation of the Live Nativity, directed by Joy Mitchell. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be there for pictures with the kids, and warm your insides with hot cocoa, apple cider and homemade sugar cookies.
