Dorothy Ruth Parsell Patton, 83, of Brownwood passed away in Abilene, Texas on November 12, 2015. A graveside service for Mrs. Patton will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015, 2:00 PM at Eastlawn Memorial Park with Tom Zintgraff presiding.
Dorothy Ruth Parsell was born on June 29, 1932 in Alpine, Texas to Fred Albert and Mary Lou Parsell . Upon completing High School she later married Cecil Wayne Patton February 6, 1956 in Carlsbad,NM. Mrs. Patton was a homemaker most of her life. She came to live in the Brownwood Community in 1962.
She was a member of Victory Life Church in Brownwood and Loved the Lord. She enjoyed vacations and travel and was known for being very kind and generous.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, David Patton and his wife Ceil, Kenneth Patton and his wife Mary; four grandchildren, Michael Patton and wife Angie, Michelle Lee and husband Alan, Carrie Patton, and Torrie Patton; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Patton, Kevin Patton, Cameron Patton, Austin Ortiz, Houston Ortiz; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil; her parents, Fred and Mary Lou Parsell; her sisters, Mary Kinman, and Jewel Lethco.
