Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Rudolfo Hernandez Lopez pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 30 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Anna Jeanette Coffey pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Coffey pled guilty to the offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Also, Coffey pled guilty to two separate state jail felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division in each case.

Roger Lynn Camp pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Harvil Dewayne Hicks pled guilty to the felony offenses of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jason Eric Mellor pled guilty to the felony offense of Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Mellor pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

October Salazar AKA Tobie Salazar pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
