LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday and Friday, October 1-2, 2015.

Wednesday, September 30

*8:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 Avenue D regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, upon officers’ arrival, parties involved were separated and an incident of assault with injury family violence was documented.

*9:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding numerous vehicle burglaries that had occurred during the overnight hours.  According to the report, a pistol and checks were stolen from one of the vehicles.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Donna Marie Carroll of Cisco for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and on Eastland County warrants related to motion to revoke/tamper/fabricate physical evidence and two motions to revoke/possession of a controlled substance penalty group1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Daniel Quintanilla of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Kelvin Dewayne Russell of Brownwood on warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old John Raymond Wilkerson of Brownwood on a parole violation, public intoxication, failure to appear, no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, display expired license plates, and two surety withdrawals related to tamper fabricate physical evidence with intention to impair and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Thursday, October 1

*10:23 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle which was parked with its hazard lights on Hwy 377 E in Blanket, near Covered Bridge Lane.  During the course of the welfare check, one passenger reported she had just been assaulted by her boyfriend, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Keith Allen Thate of Hamilton on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Amber Canon of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Rogelio B. Castro of Spring Branch on a warrant related to motion to revoke/assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Dedra Crider of Brownwood on a warrant related to injury of a child/elderly/disabled person.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Matthew Horn of Coleman for assault causes bodily injury.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Julian Randall Newell of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Shandelynn Kay Simpson of Early for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
