Henry Elizabeth “Beth” Bolding

BoldingHenryElizabethHenry Elizabeth Bolding joined her Lord, at the age of 88 years on September 28, 2015 at Denison, Texas. She was born in Rising Star, Texas on October 2, 1926. She was a long time resident of Brownwood, Texas with her late husband Grady Harold Bolding. Before moving to Denison, Henry Beth resided at the Vicksburg Retirement Center in Brownwood.

She is survived by two daughters, Lucy Beth Schwartz of Lake Tapps, Washington and Carrie Sue Durham and husband Daniel of Denison, Texas. Henry Elizabeth had 5 grandchildren, Katherine Schwartz, Justin Schwartz, James Durham and wife Stephanie, and Christie Durham. She had six great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Morgan, Zachary, Zaleigh, Sierra and Alexis. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Houston Odom Dean, and Grady Harold Bolding, and her parents, Carrie Estella Bolding and James Elbert Bolding. She was also preceded in death by her brother Johnnie D. Bolding, her sister, Lucille Allmon and a grandson, Johnathan Bottles.

In her earlier years, she left home to attend school in Dallas to get her CPA certification and was the first female credit union manager for Affiliated Foods in Dallas where she retired. Henry Elizabeth made herself known as the original Texas Redneck named Henry Beth and she loved listening to Johnny Cash which was listening to when she passed away. She also loved her artwork, especially her homemade Christmas cards that many friends enjoyed.

Services are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood on Friday, October 2, 2015, 1:00 PM.
