First Baptist Church, Brownwood, is pleased to welcome Dr. Rodney McGlothlin and his wife, Debbie, this weekend.  Dr. McGlothlin is the candidate to become the next Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church.

He will be preaching the morning Worship Service on Sunday, April 18, 2010, at 10:50.  The community is welcome to attend.  At the conclusion of the service, the church will enter into a business session at which the membership will have an opportunity to vote on calling Dr. McGlothlin as its Senior Pastor.

Dr. McGlothlin is currently the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of College Station, Texas, and has served churches throughout Texas and Oklahoma during his career.  A graduate of the University of Houston and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Rodney is a gifted church leader whose ministry has been described as “innovative but balanced”.  Outreach to the community is a hallmark of the churches he has served.

Rodney’s parents, the late Ira and Jo McGlothlin, were long time residents of Brownwood and members of First Baptist Church.  Join the FBC family in welcoming Rodney and Debbie McGlothlin.
