Fishing Reports 6/25/25

The following fishing reports are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the week of June 25:

LAKE BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85 degrees; 0.22 feet above pool. Black bass to 7 pounds are good in brush in 3-20 feet of water, shoreline grass with white or green pumpkin swim jigs, crankbaits and top waters. Bass are in a summer pattern. Crappie are good with fish up to 12 inches being caught in 18-25 feet of water on minnows and jigs. Target deeper, large docks with brush on the main lake and at the 279 Bridge. White bass are fair to 2 pounds on crankbaits out of the lights at night with some schooling early and late. Catfish are fair on cut shad, nightcrawlers and chicken livers on the main lake flats.

LAKE CISCO

GREAT. Water stained; 67 degrees; 13.22 feet below pool. Overall the lake is fishing great. Channel catfish, bass, and crappie are hitting on minnows. Perch are biting well on worms, and flathead catfish are feeding on perch. Report by Lake Cisco Rentals.

LAKE COLEMAN

FAIR. Water normal stain; 82 degrees; 0.41 feet below pool. Black bass to 2 pounds are slow in 10-20 feet of water around the lake off points with a scope minnow. Crappie are excellent to 14 inches on minnows in 8-15 feet under docks in Rattlesnake Cove on the right side going in. Hybrid bass are good to 6 pounds on squarebill crankbaits in the lighted docks. Catfish are slow on prepared bait, nightcrawlers and chicken livers.

LAKE O.H. IVIE

FAIR. Water slightly stained; 81 degrees; 23.10 feet below pool. Black bass are fair with catches up to 9 pounds possible. Main lake bass are in 12-22 feet of water scoping minnows around bait. Some topwater action in 2-10 feet of water with topwaters with white or silver bellies. Chartreuse and white or perch colored bladed jigs and chatterbaits are good in 2-8 feet around stick-ups and long tapering points. Some fish being flipped up on pumpkin colored craws, or a swimming frog in the green salt cedar bushes. Crappie reports are finally improving. Crappie can be caught with minnows around brush in 8-15 feet of water or suspended over timber. White can be caught under lights at night on the main lake with minnows. Catfish are good on cheese bait and cut shad on rock Bluffs and channel swings in 3-18 feet. Suspended fish can be caught with bait under a cork. Report by Wendell Ramsey, Ramsey Fishing.

LAKE PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 82 degrees; 0.70 feet above pool. The water is above full pool and fishing has slowed some for anglers. Reports of white bass caught trolling in shallow water. Crappie are transitioning to brush piles.
