Beginning Tuesday, June 10, TxDOT’s contractor will perform pavement repairs on US 84 (E. Commerce St.) in Brownwood.

Work will take place June 10-11, weather permitting. Motorists should expect various day time lane closures between the intersection of E. Commerce St. and N Main St. to the eastern Early City Limits.

Please avoid the area or plan for possible delays, especially during peak traffic hours. When driving in or near the work zone, please use caution, avoid distractions, and obey warning/speed limit signs. Watch for crews and equipment entering and exiting the work zone.
