Fairis Myrlene Reese, 94, of Comanche TX, passes from this life Monday May 19, 2025. The family will honor her life in a graveside service at 11 AM, Friday May 23, 2025 in the Gardens of Memories with Bill Ellis officiating. Fairis Myrlene was born August 24, 1930, in Gustine TX, to Merlin and Gladys (Howell) Stanton. She married Odell Reese December 25, 1949). They had two sons Stanton Odell and Stacy Eugene, they were Myrlene’s whole life. Myrlene was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of the Eastern Star.

Fairis Myrlene is survived by sons, Stanton and Stacy Reese; nieces, Jill Millican and Jana Ties; a dear friend, Sandy Steward; care givers, Linda Livingston and Laura Bramlett, Myrlene is preceded in death by her husband of 68+ years, Odell Reese; her parents, Merlin and Gladys Stanton; two sisters, Jean Ann (Harold) Price and Bobbie (Buddie) Hicks.
