The following information was shared with Brownwood News:

To  honor our  fallen heroes from  Brown  County,  Brownwood’s Memorial Day  program will be on Monday, May 26 at 11 AM at the  Central Texas Veterans Memorial.  Navy Commander Chaplain Jim Looby and Brownwood  Mayor Stephen Haynes will speak.  We will be dedicating plaques honoring Silver  Star  recipient and 1963  Brownwood  High School graduate  Michael Autrey Teague and the Huseman family. Duc Tape (Daniel Morriss)  well speak on behalf of the motorcycle  Memorial Day Honor Ride from San Saba to the Central Texas Veterans Memorial to honor those who died for our freedom.  American  Legion Post #196  Commander Bill Yeager  is the  Master of Ceremonies.  There will be a tent and chairs. All are welcome.
