Charles Dan Foster, age 67, of Early, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025. Arrangements have been made under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

Charles was born May 4, 1958 in Merced, California to Robert and Betty Foster. He served in the United States Marine Corp and worked in construction all of his life. He married Sherry Foster August 30, 1989 in Burnet, Texas and after her passing, he married Debra Foster June 22, 2019 in Rosebud, Texas.

Charles enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, gardening, but most of all he loved to spend time with his grandkids.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Kiersten Foster; son, Daniel Sanchez; step-daughter, Tracy Long; grandchildren, Brylee Williams, Freddy Foster, Kyren Long, David Long, Khloee Long, Abby Long, Allison Rochell, James Rochell and Nicole Long; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Jody Foster; Daniel’s mother, Lidia Sanchez, as well as many treasured friends.

Charles was preceded in death by both of his parents; his first wife, Sherry Foster and his second wife Debra Foster.
